Pumpkin Festival 2020
Slow down and savor the season with us on our friendly family farm! We offer a full-slate of pumpkin patch activities, food and shopping with a relaxed, family farm atmosphere. There's fun for the whole family and a wide array of autumn produce grown right here on the farm -- Heirloom pumpkins and squash in many colors, Jack-O-Lantern and pie pumpkins, and both large hardshell and small decorative gourds. Activities include hay rides to the U-pick patch, a corn box, hay climb, farm-themed play areas, farm animals (horses, cows, goats & chickens), nature trails, agricultural exhibits, a large gift & antique shop, yummy food served in our Schoolhouse Cafe, and more!

Chemistry Saves Lives - Texas A&M University's Chemistry Road Show
Presented by Dr. Jim Pennington
A Fall Wizard is coming to spark your interest in Chemistry! Join us to ignite imaginations and inspire students using chemistry demonstrations! There will be exploding pumpkins, weird polymers, super cold materials and even some surprising loud reactions! Dr. Jim Pennington presents the Texas A&M University Chemistry Road Show.
Chemistry is fundamental to medical education, acting as the foundation on which the human body functions. Chemistry is the key to life and underpins the search for a cure for cancer. The late President Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush were advocates of medical research to find cures for cancer following the death of their daughter Robin. With research, cancer is being cured.

Visit the Mad Scientist to discover what ghoulish odds and ends he has in his lab, and have a "blast" learning about science principles with Dr. Oxygen. End the night with a performance by UNO's The Moving Company and a costume parade. (less)... Read more
